About Time......

We finally have a potential buyer coming to look at our house this weekend. Which now means I get to spend all day Sat cleaning the house and yard to be sure this is the one they are going to buy! I guess nicer weather brings out buyers! Thank God! I was beginning to get a little worried. Problem is there are not any on the market that I am just dying to have like before which brings on a whole new set of problems. Where will we live after we sell? With a 3 year old, 4 cats, and 2 dogs you can't just go stay with your parents for a month or two. EEEKKKK! Okay, I need to calm down, We don't have the contract yet!

2 Thumbs Up!

My presentation was a hit and went extremely well! Whew, what a load off! This is the first job that I have had the lead designer role, and it went just FABULOUS! Plus, it is in Colorado which isn't a bad place to travel. That is just what I needed to motivate myself again. Why is it that even if you have a job you love sometimes you just get into a funk. Well I am happy to say I have risen above that playing field and am now back on the train! Granted by boss still has her Devil Wears Prada moments, but at least I am letting it roll off a little easier these days. I hope my fellow blogger gets as lucky as me in the job dept, she so deserves it! On another note, our house has not even showed once yet, that is getting me down just a little, but I know now that the weather is getting better, the one and only buyer we need will be right around the corner. So we could still move by April or May!

Busy Little Bee

I have been such a bad blogger lately! I hate it when work gets in the way of of my cyber-life. I have been preparing for a huge presentaion that I am leaving for today to present to our client in Missouri. I am kinda nervous because this is the first project I have done all on my own, since I started here. I know it will be fine, they always love what we do, it is just going through the motions. I also have to travel with my boss alone for second time. This is always an intresting event, I am sure I will have some stories when I return.
My husband has been in school for the last 4 days, so I feel like I have not seen him all weekend, and know I am going to be gone....He will have to be Mr. Mom with mt son for 2 days. I sure he can cover it, they are in need of some daddy/son time amyways. I just always give myself a guilt trip when I have to travel having a little one at home.

The Secret.................. is not one anymore!

I finally feel like I am out of this funk that I have been in for the last week or so. Thank God! My husband finally got his night of passion, and things are looking up in the home search. So all in all I have to say even though the weather was crappy and I had to work on Saturday at least I have my spunk back!
So I have basically been told that I will never be able to wear contacts again and I just spent more than I think should be legal on a pair of new glasses, but I can hope that when I go back for my re-check he will at least tell my that lasik is a possible conclusion. If not I am going to go crazy knowing I will have to wear glasses 24/7 the rest of my life! URRRRGGGG! No way Jose, I will be getting lasik as soon as I get that check in the mail I know is coming. :) "The Secret-the laws of attraction!" That is why things have turned around this week, I am a true believer, just ask my Nana. She has known about this so called secret for years. Guess it's not much of a secret anymore. Anyways I am off to finish the taxes, Yippee! :)

Romance........

This weekend was supposed to be my romantic anniversary weekend right? WRONG! I ended up in bed the whole weekend running a fever and not feeling well at all like doing anything! My husband had to cancel our dinner reservations and plans and instead of having a night full of sex, he just had a chilled, but sweaty, drunk off Nyquil woman laying next to him. Nothing sexy at all! Poor thing, he is such a trooper! I am going to owe him big this weekend, especially since Valentines day is this week too! I will have to come up with something good, maybe a strip tease?!? hmmm, maybe? Let's see if between now and then I can unleash the sexual lioness that I used to be, that will take some work!

5 Year Milestone

Man.......I feel like I haven't blogged in forever! It's funny how addicting it starts to get! How dare work get in the way of my social emails with my girs and my daily blogging, I swear!
Today marks the 5 year anniversary of my marriage! WoW! It seams just like yesterday I was at the "Viva Las Vegas" Wedding Chapel with the man of my dreams. But then again I am starting to feel so old that sometimes it seems that we have to have been married for 25 years at least! But never-the-less I still love him dearly! We will be celebrating this Sat night, I am sooo excited! This will give him a couple of days to get somethig really great planned since he has been quarantined to the bedroom with "the plague" all week! Thank god he is feeling better, so I can sleep in my own bed tonight and "rock his world!"

Wiped Out Weeked

Not so sure if it is physically or mentally! I had a crazy weekend....for starters we are working on all of the finacial part of moving....getting loan pre-approval, and getthing the house on the market. Done!
Second I only got 8 hours of sleep total the whole weekend! But on a great note, I got to hang out with my girls which was a blast....literally a blast back to the 80's! Gotta love Rick Springfield!
Third, I was groped by a stranger! I like to think of myself as a pretty outgoing person, but I guess maybe I'm not as outgoing as I thought???? I have been very open to discussing my new investment, but Saturday night when we were out, I was walking to the bathroom through the crowd and some girl grabbed my boob and said "are those REAL?" I was stunned and really didn't know what to say, so I said "are you kidding?" and walked off............I still cannot believe it.....I cannot imagine ever doing that to anyone, even if I was thinking it????
So I have put a lot of thought into what I might say in this situation should it ever arise again and my response will be "Yes, they are REALLY mine!"
