Washington vs. Vegas

OK...Well get ready for the blogs about work, Blah!

We have a huge design show we go to in May every year in Vagas. We booked our trip in January and it has been on the schedule since. We need to go to Washington for a design meeting for a job before we go to the show. The client wanted to do it next week, (which would have been great)but since my boss is scheduled to go to Buton on Friday for 2 weeks she didn't want to do it then. Let me let you take one guess of when she wants to do it................................That's right the day we leave for Vegas! Then me try to get from Washington to Vegas and miss part of my time that I already have scheduled. How inconsiderate is that!!!She couldn't do it 2 days before she leaves because that doesn't leave her any time for more shopping! But she wants me to miss an entire day of what we all have planned in Vegas which let me remind you is work related! It is the show of the year to find all the new cool stuff so we can just make her look better since we never get the credit for any of our work.

PS. She was published last month in a magizine artical and was anything metioned about the design team that does all of the work??? NO WAY! Just a headshot of her like she does it all by herself!

When I stood my ground and told her it would really mess up our schedule, she got her huffy 5 year old attitude and hung up! Yes, by the way she is out of town now AGAIN for the rest of the week.

So I guess she is going to the meeting without me. Which by the way makes no sense since she does NONE of the work! She doesn't know how to take notes so I will have no clue what went on in this meeting, and then when something goes wrong it will be all my fault!
