We just wrapped up one of the Embassy Suites "triplet" projects last month in Murfreeboro, TN. Here are a couple of pics from our install, it turned out well considering all we went through with the drama. The project manager and my boss fight like they are brother and sister and like 10 years old.
**STORY**
Me and two other girls from the office fly out to the jobsite working all day and night for four days, sometimes until 10:00 at night. Then the last day my boss flies in that morning in her white suit and big belt. When she arrives she offered to help but was afraid she would get dirty! HELLLOOO! Um....Yep that is what happens on an install you get sweaty and dirty! She was only there to do a newpaper interview about "HER" design and the hotel, then has her picture made like she did all the work and is gone by 11:30AM PEOPLE! Do we really think our client wants to pay for her an airline ticket and car rental so she can bask in the glory of work she didn't play a role in really! I think not, but she sure did have me bill it to them!
Next it will be on to Norman, OK which has the same project manger. "Dear lord please make this install so smoothly it is 2 weeks away, YIKES!
Then two weeks after that is one in San Marcos, TX which I dread because my boss will be along for the ride the entire time because she adores the project manager on this job. Which makes my life a living nightmare! It works so much better when I go in and do my thing the she swoops in at the last minute to take all the credit!

I'm Back

Whew! It's time to get back on track. I am making a fall resolution to get back into all the things I love and not let work monopolize my time. Work has dug me into a hole the pat few months and I am working my way back slowly but surely. After October I am hopeful that it will be smooth sailing......
I had a great weekend for the most part. Friday my husband got back in town from being out all week. I was having to pull double duty like I was a single mom. (not fun) Saturday we put up all the Halloween decorations (I just love fall!)
On Saturday night we had a family dinner to celebrate my stepdaughter's 19th birthday.***** Wow how this last 7 years and passed she was only 12 when we met and wow has she changed! She has blossomed into a responsable young adult, I think she is so mature for her age. I am very proud to think I might have played a small role in her future.**** Then it was off to the bar with the family for the celebration (you might be a red neck if lol)
Sunday was a fabulous day I got to spend it with one of my best friends and her daughter and my son. We did scrapbooking while they played, the husbands were of course playing golf. I rocked the yesterday, I finished 7 pages.
My son started big boy school today, I am sending positive thoughts his way. He is getting so big, I just know he is going to love it after the transition period. I cannot believe he has already been in my life four years and how much he has accomplished. I know this school will provide him a head start with his future and I cannot wait to watch him grow into a young adult.
