Happy Thanksgiving!

So I have been bad again, what can I say! It's been like 3 weeks since my last post! So another brief synopsis of what has happened.
My husband and I have been working like crazy on the house! My official craft room is complete, and I couldn't be more excited! I finally have a place that we do not have to eat on to do all the crafty things I love! Scrapbooking is one of the all time fav's and my mother was nice enough to get me the Cricut machine! I am stoked! I wish I still had enough time to handmake my Christmas cards, but I don't see that happening!
We had a great get together at the house last weekend with food and friends, we really miss entertaining. This year has just been to busy to do any of that. It was a diffrent mix, than our "normal" group so it was intresting, but great fun none the less!
I am so ready for the holidays! I even baked 2 cran-apple pies yesterday, and for those that know me know this is WAAAYYY out of the norm!
So it's a short week this week and next week too! We are off to Vegas for the NFR.

2 weeks worth of catch up

Ohhhh where to start since I haven'e been doing so great, I have had to busy of a work and social schedule and I am BEAT!

Guess I'll start back at the week before Halloween because if I don't blog about this I am just a chicket sh*t. We all went out for the adult part of halloween had a great time with some great friends, then we decided to go to a bar her locally. Well to make a long storuy short, one of my girlfriends and I were up on the speaker dancing the night away having a good 'ol time when........oops! I stepped backward off the speaker and fell about 3 ft into the trash can! Yep folks.....I did! They had to dig my shoe out and I had the biggest bruise on my hiney! Then come to find out we where on the jumbo tv in the middle of the bar! Priceless I tell ya! Priceless!

Then it was out of town for the week again for work, I will post pics later of that project, it ended up being my favorite of the three. Then of course Friday was family halloween night with some trick r treating. It was kinda funny my boy is sooo spoiled we had six adults walking around the neighborhood with one little boy! He had a great time!




Next it was off to the races! A weekend filled with WAY to much fun. We arrived Sat and got there just in time to watch the race. I have to tell ya folks the in field people know how to party! Every five minutes "what time is it? ...It's SHOT TIME!" Over 1,000 jello shots in 2 days, whew! I am still alive, bumped and bruised, but it was so worth it! Next year I guess we are getting our own spot for 3 races, should be a good time! Looks like I have played a very good match maker so far as well. My 2friends that I set up, hopefully with get along great.....so far...so good!
