WISH I WAS HERE!
Can I vent for just a moment and then I promise I will get on with it.....So since our design director gave her notice, my boss asked if I would think about stepping up and filling those shoes and that there would of course be more money involed. So she called me into her office yesterday to discuss. I told her that I would be willing to step up to the plate, she said great and that she wanted to raise my pay $3600 a year. Not exactly what I was hoping for since it was time for my yearly raise anyway (that is the same amount she gave me last year) but I was happy to have gotten it until today! She left a message on the voicemail system (we all share 1 voicemail box) from one of her shoppers that was saying they had a visitor with one of a kind Oscar de la Renta pieces and how there was the perfect skirt for her that was only $2900 a very good price! WHAT! That is not quite what she had given me for a YEARLY raise just the day before for a skirt she may wear a handleful of times, MAYBE! She has NO clue!
