Spread Your Wings and Fly

Well the first week of the New Year is over and so far so good. So another bird has spread her wings and flew from the nest. This weekend we started moving out my stepdaughter and her boyfriend (yes they have both lived with us for a while). They got a pretty sweet deal too, thanks to my stepdad. She was soooo excited, I remember that feeling. The independence, that feeling that you can conquer the world! Awwwe to be 18 again. Sat night my 3 year old was at my moms, so it was me and the hubby at home alone! Wow, I forgot how quiet the house could be. We ordered in, watched a movie, and drank 2 bottles of champange in the hot tub. A pretty great night after all of the holidays.
